Single launch for “Waiting for Brenda” with special guests “Suicide Country Hour”
Waiting for Brenda will be doing an album launch and a farewell for our fiddle player Luke Mysliwy and it's a hometown farewell for Luke as he was born and raised in Toowoomba. Joining us will be Toowoomba based songwriter Kyle Jenkins (Mt Morning) doing his solo album launch and Brisbane band Canyon Creek coming up for the afternoon as well.
Songwriting Retreat - RADF Grant
Lots of interesting gigs coming up and festivals and good news is that I received an RADF grant from Moreton Bay Regional Council & Arts Queensland to attend a Songwriting Retreat in Victoria hosted by renowned solo artist, and singer/songwriter with seminal Melbourne pop group Icecream Hands, Charles Jenkins through the Blackwood Collaborative Funded by The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) which is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Moreton Bay Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
